1.Effectively reducing the plugging issues
Plugging is not a physical phenomenon but a chemical phenomenon. The organic solvent substances in the sewage react with the zinc salt active agent and accelerator in the EPDM formula. Zinc salt materials are hydrophilic and easily aggregate with inorganic particles like calcium and magnesium in water under aerobic conditions, leading to fouling and blockage of the membrane pores.
2.Higher Elasticity and Better Tear Resistance
To achieve high elasticity and good tear resistance in the EPDM film, we utilize EPDM with a "bimodal" molecular weight distribution. This special EPDM has both the mechanical properties of high molecular weight polymers and the processing performance of low molecular weight EPDM. Additionally, controlled long-chain branching in the EPDM ensures a balanced combination of polymer properties.
