During her time at university, Kate focused on researching MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) for treating wastewater. Later, while working at a plastic factory , she shifted her attention to plastic formulation and production processes. As an expert in plastic formulation and production processes, she joined the Plastic Company in Zhejiang and made significant contributions to product research and development using her expertise in water treatment and plastics.

To address the issue of insufficient elasticity in aeration disc membranes in the Chinese market, Juntai Corporation continuously optimizes the formulation of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber). For instance, they have adopted EPDM with a molecular weight "bimodal" distribution from ExxonMobil in the United States and introduced controlled long-chain Keltan EPDM, replacing the traditionally used German-produced EPDM in the Chinese market. This allows EPDM to possess not only high strength and resilience but also excellent tear resistance. Compared to similar products with the same thickness and pore size, the ventilation resistance has been reduced by 20%.
