Reasons for the gradual decline in the use of many iron-carbon fillers

Leave a message

There are many types of iron-carbon fillers on the market, and most of them will show a downward trend after a period of use. What are these factors? In addition to choosing high-quality iron-carbon fillers when choosing iron-carbon fillers, what questions should we pay attention to?

How many factors do you know about the decrease in the effect of iron-carbon microelectrolytic fillers?

1. Water quality fluctuates

Solution: Determine the PH value and stay time according to different water quality

2. PH value adjustment

Solution: adjust the appropriate PH value, because the difference of PH value is 0.5, the effect is very different.

3. Stay time

Solution: The length of residence time is also the length of the oxidation-reduction time. The longer the stay time, the more complete the response, but too long a time will also lead to a series of questions for subsequent processing, so the stay time should be taken.

4. Aeration

Solution: Aeration is conducive to the oxidation of certain substances and is conducive to removing the external passive film. However, too much aeration will affect the touch time of the water and the filler, and reduce the removal rate. It should be a good value.

5. Flocculation accumulation

Solution: The flocculation and accumulation of micro-electrolysis effluent is not good, not only will the ferrous ion be reflected on the COD, but also cause a series of questions in the subsequent treatment.

6. Passivation

Solution: Some suspended substances adhere and accumulate on the surface of the filler to form a fine passivation film, which reduces the contact area between the filler and water, shortens the response time, and reduces the treatment effect.

Countermeasures:

1. Increase the amount of aeration to flush the filler.

2. Use more acidic wastewater to activate the filler to make it rehabilitate.
