What Juntai Smart Calculator Can help you :
1. Help you design the MBBR volume
2. Help you verify your MBBR tank Design
3. Help you design Aerator Tank size
4. Help to check Diffusers quantity
5. Calculate out the Tube settlers quantity for the Sedimentation tank
6. Verify the total design of the process
How is the Juntai MBBR media calculator 2.0 born?
The calculator was designed by Juntai engineer teams, a collaborative Iranian water treatment professor, and an American engineer with
more than 20 years of experience in water treatment.
How about the calculator being accurate?
Juntai has passed checks and verifications by many engineers, they think the calculated data is workable before designing. It will be a
a good reference to do Cost-Estimates & Designs.
How To Correct To Use Juntai MBBR Media Calculator?
The sheet is only for the general design, more accurate data need to according to your engineer to actual condition to design.
Many factors are other than temperature impact the loading and removal efficiency of bio media carrier design.
The data just need to change the blue cell, then get the volume result in the sheet end Red cell.
Small SALR BOD5 Loading Rate ( Removal) will need more mbbr media, Juntai picks the safe data for the design, we usually
pick 5gr/m2.d, the range is 4-25gr/m2.d, you can according to your needs to change. The SALR NH₄- N loading Rate ( Removal) is
the same, its range is 0.4 to 2gr/m2.d, we usually pick 1gr/m2.d.
If ammonia(TKN) removal is high, ammonia effluent is less than 2 mg/l, you need 2 stages, the mbbr media of the first stage
should not mix with the media of the second stage, just in one tank, you can not reach high TKN removal.
