There are always many problems with sewage that are difficult to solve. For better water quality sedimentation treatment, it is recommended that you choose lamella clarifier packing to solve the problem. There are three situations where turbidity is difficult to sink:

  1. Water dragging.

The water flow in the river is always in motion. This movement not only causes the water to entrain the soil, but also interferes with the sinking of turbid particles, and even pulls the particles that have settled up again, so some of the particles that can settle in still water Large particles will be dispersed in the water for a long time due to the movement of water.

  2. The particle size is too small and the precipitation speed is too slow.

Only those particles with larger sizes are likely to settle out of the water in a relatively short period of time. When the particles are as small as close to the size of fine clay, the sedimentation rate is too small, and in fact, it does not sediment in the water. When the particles are in the colloidal range, natural sedimentation and separation are even more impossible.

  3. Electrostatic repulsion.

Because the particles of colloid are too small, the sedimentation speed is very slow, but if the colloidal particles can bond to each other into a larger particle, the sedimentation speed can be accelerated and the sedimentation time can be shortened.
