The installation angle of the inclined tube packing is very important.
1. Under the condition of a certain effective volume of the sedimentation tank, increasing the sedimentation area can increase the particle removal rate. The effect is better when the inclination angle is 35~45°. This is a theory, but according to practice, the smaller the inclination angle of the inclined tube sedimentation tank, The larger the sedimentation area is, the higher the sedimentation efficiency will be, but it will be unfavorable for sludge discharge. In consideration of smooth sludge discharge, a 60° angle is generally selected. Therefore, the angle of inclination of the inclined plate and the inclined tube is usually 60°. The smaller the inclination angle of the inclined tube, the smaller the precipitated particles will be removed.
2. The influence of the length of the honeycomb inclined tube filler in the sedimentation tank on the sedimentation effect: It has been proved from actual use that the muddy water separation is sufficient when the length is large, and the sedimentation effect is good. However, the oblique plate and oblique tube are too long, which not only increases the cost, but also has difficulties in manufacturing and installation, and the improvement of the precipitation effect is not very significant. Therefore, the honeycomb oblique tube filler is often selected as one meter in length. For example, in actual production, the length of the inclined plate and tube of the counter-flow sedimentation tank is about 1000mm.
3. How to prevent floating: Since the specific gravity of the inclined pipe filler is 0.92 slightly less than that of water, 10mm rebar or round steel bars should be fixed on the top of the filler to prevent it from loosening and floating. Both steel bars and angles are anticorrosive with epoxy coal tar pitch.
