Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), also known as Suspended Carrier Biofilm Process (SCBP), is a biological contact oxidation method in which microbial carriers are in motion in wastewater. The reactor has a simple process, improves the denitrification efficiency of the sewage plant, improves the operation effect, and does not need to increase the volume of the original reactor. This is the original KMT moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR).

The uniqueness of the filler is mainly manifested in the following aspects:
1.Good geometric configuration
◆ The outer membrane of the bio carrier is renewed quickly and is active, the inner membrane is fully protected, and the growth of microorganisms is in good condition. The traditional method of outer growth of biomedia is changed to make the degradation efficiency of microorganisms higher.

◆ The special structure allows air bubbles and pollutants in the water to freely pass through the inside of bio media, increasing the contact probability of the biofilm with oxygen and pollutants, greatly improving the mass transfer efficiency of the system, and improving the biodegradation activity.

◆ The biological flora inside bio carrier has a long life cycle and abundant strains, which is especially suitable for the growth of nitrifying bacteria, and has the characteristics of anaerobic and aerobic, and the effect of nitrification and denitrification is obvious.

2.The filler has a large specific surface area and a large amount of biological attachment
◆Sufficiently large carrier surface area is suitable for the adsorption and growth of microorganisms, with high effective biological concentration and strong processing capacity.

◆ The higher biological concentration enables the fluctuation of the incoming water quality to be fully dispersed and quickly reduced, thereby improving the impact load resistance of the system.

3.The scientific formula makes the filler adhesion better and easier to fluidize.
◆ Appropriate specific gravity (the specific gravity is close to 1 after hanging the film) so that filter media can be completely fluidized under slight agitation, reducing energy consumption to the greatest extent;

◆ Biofilm media rotates freely and smoothly, increasing the impact and cutting of bubbles in the water, breaking large bubbles, extending the residence time of bubbles in the water, and increasing the oxygen utilization rate by 3%, effectively reducing the oxygen supply energy consumption.

◆ The scientific formula makes it easier for microorganisms to attach to mbbr filter media; it allows microorganisms that are difficult to degrade and easy to degrade organic matter to grow together, and the biological phase is rich, which improves the treatment effect of hardly degradable organic matter.
