1. When the effective volume of the sedimentation tank is constant, increasing the sedimentation area can increase the particle removal rate. The effect is better when the tilt angle is 35~45°. This is a theory, but according to the actual situation, the smaller the inclination angle of the inclined tubular sedimentation tank, the larger the sedimentation area and the higher the sedimentation efficiency, but it is not conducive to the discharge of sludge. Considering smooth sludge discharge, an angle of 60° is usually selected. Therefore, the inclination angle of the inclined plate and the inclined tube is usually 60°. The smaller the inclination angle of the inclined tube, the less the precipitated particles will be removed.
2. The influence of the length of the honeycomb inclined tube filler in the sedimentation tank on the sedimentation effect: It has been proved in actual use that when the length is large, the mud-water separation effect and the sedimentation effect are good. However, the oblique plate and the oblique tube are too long, which not only increases the cost, but also has difficulties in manufacturing and installation, and the improvement of the precipitation effect is not very obvious. Therefore, the length of the honeycomb inclined tube filling is usually selected as one meter. For example, in actual production, the length of the inclined plate and pipe of the countercurrent sedimentation tank is about 1000 mm.
3. How to prevent floating: Since the specific gravity of the inclined pipe filler is 0.92 lower than that of water, a 10mm steel bar or round steel bar should be fixed on the top of the filler to prevent it from loosening and floating. Both steel bars and angle steel have the corrosion resistance of epoxy coal tar pitch.
