Because the filler and water are both moving, the mass transfer between gas, water and solid phase is better, and the biofilm activity on the filler is higher, which improves the organic load and efficiency of the system, and the effluent water quality is stable.

 

The application of MBBR is flexible, the reactor shape is diverse, the structure is compact, the occupation area is small, under the same load condition, only 20% of the volume of the common oxidation pool, small head loss, low energy consumption, simple operation, convenient operation and management. Microorganisms attach to the carrier and flow with the water flow so there is no need for sludge backflow or recycling backwash. The biofilm falls off naturally and does not cause blockage. Small footprint: the mobile bed biofilm reactor occupies about 20-40% of the capacity of the conventional bioreactor (anoxic, anaerobic and aerobic) under the condition of 15% packing rate and the same pollution load.

 

Suitable for suitable expansion: in view of the small reserved area of most plants, when the actual inlet water quality and quantity change, the original design water outlet standard can be met without changing the original design tank capacity.

AquaSust MBBR:

Moving bed biofilm reactor has absorbed the advantages of traditional activated sludge process and biological contact oxidation process to become a new composite process. Packing for stirring reactor in the specific surface area is larger freedom of movement in the water, sewage continuously through the reactor with mobile packing on the packing form biofilm growth, biological membrane microbial multiply, autotrophic and heterotrophic microorganisms using water C, N, P and so on carries on the metabolism, so as to have the effect of sewage treatment.

The moving bed biofilm reactor belongs to the three-phase biological fluidized bed treatment method, and its technical core is a biological reaction tank with a unique structure using a unique carrier, which is convenient for microbial circulation in the carrier and sludge.

 

The moving biocell filter media (MBBR) is an efficient biofilm technology, which combines the advantages of traditional fluidized bed.

The MBBR process adds a certain amount of suspended filler (biofilm carrier) to the reactor, and in the protected area of the filler, different microorganisms (from bacteria to ciliates to rotifers) concentrate on the biofilm. Some anaerobic or aerobic bacteria are grown inside the carrier, while aerobic bacteria are grown outside. Each carrier is a micro-reactor, which ensures extensive and frequent contact between waste water and biofilms on the carrier, either through blast aeration in the aerobic treatment system or stirring in the anaerobic treatment system.
