Product Description of Plastic Mbbr Biofiltration Media
Biofiltration media are used in integrated fixed film activated sludge (IFAS) and moving bed biofilm reaction (MBBR) systems.
The wastewater passes through the suspension medium of the MBBR reactor and gradually forms a biofilm on the surface of the medium. Through the action of microorganisms on the biofilm, the wastewater is purified. The MBBR medium can move freely in the reactor with the mixing of water. For aerobic reactors, aeration will move the media; for anaerobic reactors, mechanical mixing will move the media. Our MBBR media is a newly developed media that handles better than conventional media.
