The moving bed bioreactor (MBBR) fixed membrane treatment system uses thousands of special suspended biomass carriers to create a large surface area for the growth of biofilms and enhance wastewater biological treatment without increasing the factory floor area system. It can be used for BOD5 and nutrient removal in urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
The MBBR system can be installed in new and existing plants to increase capacity and nutrient removal without the need for additional water tanks, thereby minimizing upgrade costs and project duration, and eliminating the need for additional space.
Its features include spiral roller mixing mode, fine bubble or coarse bubble aeration system, non-clogging wedge-shaped wire mesh that retains the biomass carrier in the reactor, and the biomass carrier suspended in the aerobic zone of the reactor to form an optimal response. High-speed cascade reactors and optimized biomass inoculation graded partitions, mechanically fixed denitrification reactors and aerobic reactors filled with biological carriers
The MBBR system can be installed as an integrated fixed membrane activated sludge system (IFAS) or a fixed membrane system (without activated sludge circulation system). Or coupled with an enhanced aeration tank to provide a complete aeration tank or aeration tank.
